Tasty Thursday…6 Fall Soup Recipes that will Make your Mouth Water

Happy Thursday!  I can’t believe another week has almost come and gone and that it is almost the end of September.  It is beginning to feel like the perfect soup weather around here.  The days and the evenings are cooling off quickly.  This week, I have had my fill of hearty soups for dinner.  Monday night I made a yummy crockpot chili and last night had a fabulous Minestrone soup with Moroccan Olive bread.  Both are two of my standard fall soup recipes.

Both soups were so tasty they left me wanting to find more savory soup recipes to add to my list.  Today, I have pulled together 6 soup recipes that I am excited to try and wanted to share with you…

Tasty Thursday…6 Shredded Chicken Recipes

Happy Thursday!  This week has flown by, I cannot believe it is almost time for the weekend to roll around again, where did the week go?

Yesterday, I cooked a whole chicken in the crockpot.  I love doing this, it provides enough shredded chicken for several recipes and the leftovers can be frozen for future recipes.  In addition to the chicken meat, I use the leftovers to make chicken broth in the crockpot, which I also freeze for future recipes.

I like to get creative with my shredded chicken meals to keep things interesting.  Today, I have found six meals using shredded chicken that I cannot wait to try…I thought I would take today to share them with you as well…

1. Tuscan Chicken Soup

2. Chicken and Feta Frittata

3. BBQ Chicken Pizza

4. Corn Cakes with Shredded Chicken and Salsa

5. Tamale Pie

6. Ribbon Salad with Shredded Chicken

Now the question is, which one will I make for dinner tonight?  Do you have a favorite shredded chicken recipe?  Please share in the comments.
