I love everything about fall. I love the crisp cool days, walking or riding through the woods as the colorful leaves are falling around me. I even love the days when the rain is gently falling. Last night, I went to my weekly group mountain bike ride. As we were riding through the trails the weather was starting to cool and the trails were wet from rain earlier in the day. Everything around me was so lush with just a touch of color sprinkled throughout the trees and on the trails, it was beautiful.
As much as I love everything else about fall, one of my all time favorite things about fall are pumpkins. I love them! They are so versatile, yummy to eat and even more fun to decorate with during this time of year.
Today, I scoured pinterest to bring you 6 fabulous uses for pumpkins. I included a few yummy recipes and some easy ways to incorporate them into your fall decor…enjoy!
I am absolutely loving the glitter pumpkins. They may be on my agenda for the weekend. What are your plans this weekend?
I would also like to wish a very happy birthday to my dad today! I am so very fortunate to have him as my dad and blessed to have him in my life.

Last night, I met a group of friends at the trail head for our weekly Thursday night group mountain bike ride. It had been raining most of the afternoon, but the rain slowed just in time for the ride. The weather was cool and drizzly, the leaves have slowly started to fall on the trail…it is definitely starting to feel like fall in WV. I’m so excited, I am ready, fall is my favorite time of year.
One of my friends took this shot before the beginning of our ride…what a fun fall misty evening…can you pick out which one is me?
I hope to work on a couple of small house projects this weekend. I also hope to find a little time to take some new photos of the updates I’ve been working on around the house to share next week. What are your plans?
