Guest Post: Tiffany from Living Savvy

Hello Mustard Ceiling readers! I am Tiffany from Living Savvy, and I could not be happier to be helping Elizabeth out while she is in this amazing new transition!

If you are not a follower of my blog then you have no idea that I am in the middle of building a new house and knee deep in design plans in my head.  I have been renting for the last 3 years and contractor white walls have driven me to add color in fabrics and furnishing… but I looking forward to keeping things neutral, but with pops of color.  I recently did a color test {found via Elizabeth on this amazing blog} and this is what it turned out!

So I used these colors to pull actual paint colors via Chip it.  {the pink is just the text}

I really like the grays and browns!  But that doesn’t mean I need to get rid of all of my color.
Way back in January I came across a pair of Chiagn Mai Dragon pillow covers in Mocha!  Of course I scooped them right up!  I think that I can use all of the colors in the pillow and work my neutrals back into my decor.
We also are planning on getting a new couch for our family room when we move.  My hubs doesn’t know it yet, but I have my eye on this baby from West Elm:
I love the neutral background, and the single cushion!  As a neutral base, I put together a few fabric options:
So what option would you pick?
Head over to my blog to check out the progress of my new house, the crazy I call life, and a few DIY and client projects along the way!
Thanks so much for having me!  Can’t wait to see you back soon Elizabeth!
