This week I stumbled upon a new to me blog, My Best Friend Craig, have you heard of it? Let me tell you, if you have not you HAVE to visit.
Charmaine blogs about simple, affordable ways to decorate a home and she is good! Yesterday, she featured all of her Craigslist finds. I don’t know how she does it, she has found some incredible items and the not so incredible one’s are ah-mazing after she is finished working her magic on them.
Do you ever find anything good on Craigslist? I have never found anything. I keep looking, but so far, no luck.

I love the black and white hexagon flooring and beadboard and the sweet little green stools are the perfect touch for a kid’s bathroom.

Fun I will have to check out her blog! Gotta love craigslist and when I lived in San Francisco Craig the creator of Craigslist lived in my neighborhood. They even made a documentary about craigslist that was interesting. It is called “24 hours on craigslist” It talks about everything you can find on the site at all times.

Awesome! I hear ya about not finding much on Craigslist. My personal opinion is that it depends very heavily on where you live… here in SW VA, we just don’t see very much of the real cool stuff come through. Now if I was crazy about laminated, pressed fiberboard shelving or desks I would probably be having a heyday!

I’ve gotten many things on CL–our kitchen island, numerous antique rugs, lighting, even our Andersen sliding glass doors that we just installed in our new reno–CL is the place to score, baby! I’ve never heard of this blog so I’m glad you introduced her to us…going over there right now to check out her finds:)

Those are amazing finds! I’m not sure if I would have had the vision for the credenza…it turned out fabulous. I’ve never found anything on Craigslist, but recently found a pair of chairs and a desk at a thrift store for a steal…I just love a bargain!

I’ve only gotten one item from Craigs List but it’s a favorite – the bench in our dining room. We use it all the time and I know we’ll use it for a long long time. I love finding new blogs recommended by other blog friends, so I’m headed over to check it out. I love that bathroom!
