This AM as I was scrolling through pinterest and I stumbled upon this image of a guest room by Rachel Oliver. I love the treatment of framed fabric/wallpaper behind the headboards. It creates a focal point in the space, immediately drawing your eye into the room. What were you first drawn to in this space?
It got my creative wheels turning and I haven been thinking of all of the ways I could use a similar treatment of framed wallpaper, or fabric to create a focal point behind the bed in our next home. My idea is to use the framed design as the headboard.
What do you think? Do you think the framed design would work as a headboard? I am starting to file ideas away for our next house
, this may just have to go in that file.
PS: I apologize for the site being up and down the past few days. I believe the issue is solved and hopefully it won’t happen again. Thank you for your patience.

I love this idea Elizabeth! I have been thinking about doing this in my daughter’s room. She has an iron headboard that is too tall for art but feels like it needs something. I’ll let you know if I do it!

I love the mirror in between the beds! I wonder what color it is? I’ve been looking for a pop of color to go in my master bedroom.
The framed fabric is super cool too.

I think that would work wonderfully Elizabeth. Similar to the panels I did on each side of my bed, they add a great impact and its so easy.

Gwyneth and I just love this idea! It’s one of those big impact, small budget projects, and we think those are total slam dunks! Good luck!
